Join us for a fully accredited Permaculture Design Certificate (PDC) course, delivered by the Workers' Educational Association (WEA), a national adult education charity. This FREE or low-cost course is taught by an experienced and registered Permaculture Design Tutor and combines hands-on learning with expert-led theory sessions.


What to Expect

This bespoke course has been co-designed with Community Roots, a Community Supported Agriculture project on the stunning North Cliffs of Cornwall, to meet the needs of people who want to apply permaculture principles at home, in community spaces, or in commercial projects.


Course Highlights:

  • Learn core permaculture ethics, principles, and design processes

  • Gain practical experience in organic food growing and sustainable design

  • Work on-site at Community Roots, Mount Pleasant Eco Park, and with local food justice organisation Food Troops

  • Earn a globally recognised certificate from the Permaculture Association (UK)

  • Opportunity to progress onto the Diploma in Applied Permaculture Design


Course Format:

  • Weekdays, 10am–4pm, over 3 weeks

  • Delivered on-site with a mix of practical activities and classroom-based sessions


Costs:

  • Course fees range from FREE to £300 for the full programme
